Patrick Gorman entered Parliament to turn Perth’s local values into national results. 

Perth is a passionate, vibrant community with strong values. 

That’s what Patrick sees everyday living in North Perth with his incredible wife Jess and two children, Leo and Ruby.

As the son of teachers and a kid who suffered from chronic asthma, Patrick knows how important protecting Medicare and making education available for everyone is.

Patrick has been privileged to help shape not only the future of Perth over the last few years - but the kind of country that we want to be.

Patrick has seen the transformative power of good government to uplift lives. 

He has also seen the damage caused by destructive and irresponsible Liberal governments. 

That’s why he is proud to be part of the Albanese Labor Government, which is building Australia’s future.

Prior to Parliament, Patrick served as Principal Adviser to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and State Secretary of WA Labor.

He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Social Science from Curtin University.
