Jeff is a lifelong resident of La Trobe and a passionate advocate for his community. Born and raised in Emerald, he has spent over four decades witnessing firsthand the region’s vast growth and transformation.

With a deep commitment to public service, Jeff has had the honour and privilege of serving as Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and a local Councillor. These roles have allowed him to engage with the diverse townships and communities across the region, strengthening his understanding of their unique needs and aspirations.

Jeff is proud to call this beautiful and unique region home—a gateway between Melbourne and Gippsland, stretching from the Dandenong Ranges to Westernport Bay. However, he knows that these communities are in desperate need of fresh leadership—a strong, positive pathway to navigate the uncertainties of the future.

Jeff believes in unity over division. He is committed to bringing people together, focusing on the common goals that unite the community rather than the forces that seek to fragment it.
