Anika Wells

Member for Lilley

Anika Wells, Labor's Member for Lilley, lives in Chermside with her husband, young daughter and rescue kelpie, Don.

Before being an MP Anika worked in workplace & personal injury law and has been actively involved in our local community through her work with the Nundah Community Legal Service and with Chermside Parkrun, which she founded in 2015 at 7th Brigade Park.

As a local working mother she sees the impact of the cuts to The Prince Charles Hospital and local health services and is frustrated by the Coalition Governments’ inability to deliver a childcare policy that actually makes things easier for Northside families.

As your member for Lilley Anika is focused on ensuring local families can get ahead by championing the need to create good local jobs and investing in much needed rail and road infrastructure.
