The Albanese Government is announcing the locations of 11 new Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics across Australia, expanding access to specialised care for women and girls living in the regions and outer suburbs. 

These 11 new clinics bring the total to 33 nationwide, ensuring more women can access the care they need, closer to home.    

These clinics are delivering a key part of the Albanese Government’s landmark Women’s Health Package, which is investing almost $800 million to deliver improved healthcare and access for women and girls across the country.   

Opening by the start of 2026, the clinics will provide expert, multidisciplinary services for endometriosis and pelvic pain. 
 
As part of the Government’s commitment to improving women’s health, all 33 clinics will now also support women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.   

Endometriosis affects at least 1 in 7 Australian women, often causing chronic pain and fertility issues. Many face an average 7-year delay in diagnosis, which can have a devastating impact on their daily lives.   

Pelvic pain is similarly complex and debilitating, with broader social and economic impacts. It is estimated to cost the Australian economy $6 billion annually.   

The expanded clinic model will also improve healthcare and education around perimenopause and menopause, helping women better manage symptoms and access appropriate support.
