Sonja Baram is Labor's candidate for Sturt. She's running to make Australia a fairer and safer place for every Australian.

Sonja lives in Sturt and works as a family therapist in her community. She worked on the frontline of the pandemic as a first response counsellor for the SA COVID Mental Health Support Line and has seen first hand how tough the pandemic has been for South Australian families. This is why she's putting her hand up to represent her community in Federal Parliament.

Sonja wants to fight for an Australia with a strong Medicare, a world class education system through preschool to TAFE and tertiary education.
