Born and raised in Geraldton, Karen has deep family connections to the community spanning many decades. With nearly 30 years of experience in the maritime industry, she’s worked as a cook, deckhand, pearl diver, and on bulk cargo ships and tugboats. A proud mum of two daughters, Karen is committed to representing the people of Durack and advocating for her community.
