Senate Candidate for New South Wales

Charlie Sheahan and his wife Sue raised their three kids in Cootamundra.

Charlie has worked as a farm manager for more than 22 years. He’s been an active member of the Cootamundra Lions Club for the past 10 years and past president for 2 years. Charlie is also a volunteer member of the Rural Fire Service Coolac Brigade. Previously Charlie served on the Jugiong Park Trust, Jugiong P&C as secretary and president, and the Jugiong Parish Pastoral Council.

Charlie was elected to Cootamundra-Gundagai Council in 2018 where he has advocated for his local community. Charlie knows what it takes to fight for rural and regional communities like his own and wants to hold the Morrison Government to account for its cuts and chaos.
