Amanda Hunt is WA Labor’s Candidate for Canning at the upcoming Federal Election.
Amanda has been a leader in the community sector for more than two decades, most recently as CEO of Uniting WA, and prior to that as State Director of Mission Australia for WA. Amanda is a founding member of the End Homelessness Alliance, and has sat on a number of Boards including Community Employers WA, SECCA, and WACOSS.
She holds a Master of Business Leadership from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Edith Cowan University.
Growing up in the outer suburbs of Perth, Amanda understands the challenges and opportunities that come with a fast growing region.
As a single mother, Amanda has balanced work and parenthood like so many Western Australians.
Amanda is standing for Canning because she knows that only an Albanese Labor Government will stand up for WA.
