On June 28, you will be voting in a federal by-election brought on by the unnecessary, costly resignation of a local National Party member.

Labor's candidate, Darren McCubbin, is already a strong local voice, serving as the local mayor, and a small businessman who knows the importance of local jobs.

The Nationals have taken Gippsland for granted for far too long, and it's time Gippsland had a new, strong local voice in our government.

That voice is Darren McCubbin.
